Then this role may be the role for you! We are seeking a dynamic Sales Leader to join Tasktop as our Manager, Inside Sales.
Our sales team is a group of highly driven individuals that are intelligent, dedicated and love challenges. We work together as a team to accomplish and exceed quarterly and annual objectives, and our overarching goal is to drive company revenue through our client’s success.
You will use your sales, negotiation, and leadership skills to lead the Inside Sales team in prospecting and selling Tasktop’s award winning software to Fortune 1000 businesses. You have a track record of success in selling enterprise software and building beneficial, lasting relationships with customers. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
In this role you will:
Motivate, coach, and directly lead a team of 4-6 quota-carrying Inside Sales professionals.
Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Tasktop solution offerings.
Coach direct reports in sales strategy, pipeline management and opportunity development through regular call coaching sessions, pipeline reviews, one on ones, and weekly team meetings.
Own responsibility for accurate forecasting on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis.
Analyze current process and systems to improve customer outreach, and pipeline management.
Lead the team’s performance against quotas and sales forecasts, execute operating plans and ensure sales objectives are met.
Set and track key sales targets and supporting metrics for your team, both leading and lagging metrics.
Display a systemic approach to supporting multiple Regional Sales Managers and implement strategic initiatives designed to promote a high-energy, high-activity sales environment.
Execute new hiring, onboarding and ongoing training to enable the team to achieve sales quotas and ongoing professional development.
Facilitate resources necessary to further sales cycle such as sales engineering as well as partner service resources.
Maintain a real-time understanding of the competitive landscape to assist in building win-based proposals and pricing.
Great candidates have the following qualifications:
2+ years leading a quota-carrying sales team (strong preference for enterprise software sales experience).
5+ years of individual sales experience with enterprise software and/or SaaS companies.
Full understanding of a complex sales process from lead to close to ongoing account management.
Experience in call coaching to improve rep performance and customer experience.
Player-coach who loves to get on the phone to help close deals.
Ability to lead multiple projects and activities while paying attention to detail.
Is a self-starter who is confident in a fast-paced, ambitious environment and has a track record of using analytic skills to actively develop new insights that drive operational strategy and revenue growth.
Excellent leadership, energy, judgment, communication, management and analytical skills required.
Passionate about growing and building a business to its full potential.
Reputation for consistently over-exceeding quarterly team quotas while keeping the customer happy.
Forecasting commitments and forecasting accuracy.
Experience using Salesforce.com (CRM) and measuring system compliance.
Able to commute daily into our Austin office.
Bachelor’s degree preferred from an accredited university.
