Task Editor Time Summary and Submitting
Now you have the convenience of reviewing the time spent on a task directly from within the task editor. Review Today's activity, this week's or last, or activity for the past month. Submit time for the selected time frame to Bugzilla, JIRA, Scrumworks, and soon Rally.

-
Cross Repository Dependencies
The Associations section (a sub-section of the Attribute section in the Task Editor) is a new section for managing associations specific to the given task. Easily add a dependency on tasks in different repositories even if the repository is a different kind. For example, you can now add a dependency from a Bugzilla task to a JIRA or Rally task.

Streamlined Setup Experience
The initial setup experience of Tasktop has been streamlined and users now have a step by step guide through configuring Tasktop. Each step will be checked off as you work through at your own pace.

Note regarding Tasktop Stand Alone (RCP) update
Users of Tasktop Pro stand alone application (rcp) are required to update by downloading the latest from tasktop.com
Mylyn 3.3
This Tasktop release includes all changes in the Mylyn 3.3 release. Highlights include:
-
Focus for C/C++
The CDT Bridge has been extended, improved and is now a part of the Mylyn project as a reference implementation for focusing, to complement the Java Bridge. Users who already have the CDT Mylyn Bridge installed can update to the latest version from the update site.
-
-
Time Tracking Preferences
Time tracking can now be turned off independently of focusing. Time tracking has always been optional and private since it required task activation and stored all tracking information in the workspace. But it was not previously possible to use focusing without active time being captured. Note that the preference is off by default, since Mylyn makes all activity tracking and automation opt-in.
You can now enable time tracking though preferences Window > Preferences > Tasks and Tasktop users will be presented with a link within the Time Tracking section header to enable tracking time if it is not already enabled.

-
Add Yourself Easily
You can easily insert your address to person fields within the task editor. Click the gold person button that appears within these fields to insert your user id.
-
-
Filtering of Completed Tasks
Toggling filtering of completed tasks is now available from the Task List toolbar.
