  • Workspace Provisioning for HP ALI

Tasktop Dev can automatically create queries and check out the source code for a release in HP ALM with HP ALI 1.1 or greater. ALI allows you to define links from releases in ALM to projects stored in an SCM repository. Tasktop Dev can use these links to automatically check out the projects associated with a chosen release (supports SVN only). Tasktop can also automatically create queries for the release and add the release plan to your task list.

  • HP ALM Connector: Improved Commit-to-Task Traceability

You can now include the Test Director URL of the active ALM task in your commit messages by adding the "${qc.testdirector.url}" template variable to your commit template.

  • Task-to-Commit Traceability for IBM Rational ClearCase with HP ALM

When committing changes to ClearCase while working on a task from HP ALM, Tasktop can add information about the commit to the task. This provides a record of all relevant commits right on the task, in the "SCM Info" section shown at right.

  • VersionOne Connector: Improved Time Reporting

The VersionOne Connector now displays the Done field for backlog items in the task editor, and supports updating this field with time tracked by Tasktop. It can also optionally update the ToDo field.

  • Tasktop for VS: Support for Adding and Removing Associations

The task editor in Tasktop for Visual Studio now supports adding and removing task associations. Content assist allows you to select a task to add by typing part of its summary.

  • Tasktop for VS: Support for Copying Task Details

With Tasktop for Visual Studio, you can now right click on a task to open the Copy Details menu which allows you to quickly copy a task's URL, Summary and URL, or Task ID to the clipboard.

  • Tasktop Planner: Plans Can be Copied as Rich Text

In addition to the existing Copy Details menu, which has been simplified, the Tasktop Planner now has a Copy command, which copies the selected tasks or sprints to the clipboard as rich text suitable for pasting into an email or word processor. Only those tasks which show through the current filters will be copied, making it easy to share your view of the plan with someone else.

  • Tasktop Planner: Auto-complete for Activity Dropdown

When setting a task's activity in the Tasktop Planner, you can now type part of the activity's name to see a filtered list of activities to choose from.

  • Tasktop Planner: Support for Configuring Roll-up of Estimated Hours

For each plan, you can now configure whether the time remaining shown for a story should include the time remaining values for its subtasks.

  • Tasktop Planner: Improved Query Configuration

The planning query configuration dialog now provides options to show only plans that are or are not part of the query, making it easy to clean up and manage your planning queries when you have a large number of plans in your task list.

  • Polarion Connector: Improved Query Dialog

When creating a Polarion query, each field lists only the options that are valid given the current selections. For example, if a project is selected, then statuses and work item types that are not valid for that project will not be shown.
