Tasktop Partners with IBM and Danube

Tasktop has recently partnered with IBM to collaborate on the Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC) initiative; an open effort that is defining web service APIs for change management systems. This partnership has yielded the new IBM Rational ClearQuest connector, which is built on OSLC standards.

Tasktop has also teamed up with Danube Technologies to certify and deliver a Mylyn/Tasktop connector for Danube's ScrumWorks Pro project management system, which has been designed from the ground up to support the Scrum method of agile software development.

ClearQuest Connector

The Tasktop connector for IBM Rational ClearQuest allows you to query your ClearQuest server and access your change requests from Eclipse. Developers can now quickly view and update requests without leaving Eclipse or repeatedly switching to a ClearQuest client or web browser. We're currently rolling out the ClearQuest connector to organizations who are interested in piloting it as part of our Early Access program. Stay tuned for more information about the upcoming integration for ClearCase. Learn More

ScrumWorks Pro Connector

The ScrumWorks Pro Connector allows developers to access ScrumWorks Pro artifacts from Tasktop or a Tasktop-Enabled Eclipse IDE. ScrumWorks Pro teams can now take full advantage of task-focused programming productivity by updating artifacts such as backlog items, tasks, and impediments directly from Tasktop or their Eclipse IDE. Easy Connector Discovery and Installation

The new Connector Discovery wizard dramatically simplifies the process of finding and installing new connectors with an Apple App Store type interface. If you are running the Eclipse plugin version of Tasktop with Eclipse 3.5, simply click "New Task" and then "Install More Connectors..." to get started.

Tasktop Trials Extended to 60 Days

Need more time to evaluate Tasktop? You can now try Tasktop for 60 days and fully engage in task-focused productivity before purchasing.
