Completed integration to increase project visibility and boost developer productivity with direct access to VersionOne from the Eclipse IDE

VANCOUVER, Mar. 15, 2010 - Tasktop Technologies (www.tasktop.com), creators of Eclipse Mylyn and the leading provider of task management for application lifecycle management (ALM), and VersionOne (www.versionone.com), recognized by agile practitioners as the leader in agile management tools, today announced the availability of the VersionOne Mylyn Connector. The connector streamlines software development by providing direct access to VersionOne products from within the Eclipse IDE. Together, Tasktop and VersionOne will help developers view and update project artifacts in VersionOne while, simultaneously, providing accurate and up-to-date time tracking and project status visibility for software development teams.

This integration provides VersionOne teams with access to advanced productivity features such as time tracking automation and the ability to link VersionOne stories and defects to dependent artifacts in legacy and open source ALM systems, leveraging the broad ecosystem of compatible Tasktop and Mylyn connectors. Tasktop Pro is also available as a standalone application that provides rich desktop access to stories, defects and tasks in VersionOne for product owners.
