Marketing Manager

Description

A marketing manager at Tasktop has an extremely challenging role. This individual would work on a team whose main goals are driving awareness of the Tasktop product and generating qualified leads for sales managers. The ideal candidate for this role would have some experience with programming or a comfort level with sales and marketing of developer tools and some general marketing experience:

Job Specifications

• Helps develop and maintain marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives.
• Develops marketing plans to execute marketing strategies
• Evaluates customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implements marketing plan changes as needed.
• Works with external public relations firm to support marketing initiatives
• Supports all marketing and advertising and promotional staff and activities.
• Part of a team whose main goals are to increase brand awareness and drive lead generation so sales have qualified leads to manage.
• Manage marketing team budget. Deliver results and maximize said budget.
• Coordinates events and webinar program.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of marketing experience in high tech companies, preferably with software companies
• Experience marketing enterprise software solutions or open source
• Experience implementing closed loop marketing programs would be a plus
• Willingness to travel and work with a global team of professionals
• Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
• Background in computer science or experience with developer marketing would be a plus
• Comfort with technology
• Self-starter who can work with remote teams
